FIELD: thermal pumps. SUBSTANCE: method consists in compression, cooling and condensing, throttling and evaporating, as well as dividing the cooling agent flow into preset number of flows, freezing the cooling agent out of the solution and melting the ice, discharging the concentrated solution and heated heat-transfer agent to the consumer. Innovation of the method consists in two-fold dividing of the cooling agent flow before throttling which intensifies the ice melting process. Combination thermal pump has circulating loops for cooling agent, solution and heat-transfer agent to which preset number of heat exchangers are connected in parallel. Innovation of the device consists in bringing the outlet of heat exchangers in communication with its own throttle valve. The construction is simplified through avoidance of condenser at retained two-stage cooling process and condensation of cooling agent, as well as through increased number of heat exchangers with process of freezing out the ice per heat exchanger with ice melting process which increases ice production and enhances efficiency even through total number of heat exchanger is decreased.
