FIELD: optical processing of data. SUBSTANCE: initial light field is split to two light beams. After that one beam is dissipated subsequently. New set of operations is carried out then: individual Fourier transform for both beams, linear amplitude-phase transformation of spectral distribution of the field according to corresponding coordinate directions, reverse Fourier transform for both beams, indication of intensity of transformed light field according to the same coordinate directions. After that slopes of wavefront are computed by means of computational device in order to determine phase distribution of light field. Light field is differentiated by coordinate directions by optical method. EFFECT: reduced number of sequent computational operations in computer; increased speed of operation of the method. 3 dwg
