FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: sorption is effected on polymer in form of polyorganosiloxane of cross-linked structure -poly(S.S-bis(silsesquioxanyl propylamine) disulfide (sorbent PSDS-3). Palladium (II) and gold (III) are extracted within the interval of hydrochloric acid concentration (1-7 M). The higher extraction efficiency is attained in 1-M solution of hydrochloric acid. Static sorption capacity of PSDS-3 sorbent for palladium (II) is 380 mg/g, and for gold (III) is 650 mg/g. Quantitative extraction of palladium (II) and gold (III) from hydrochloric acid solution is possible in the presence of 10-5-multiple quantities of sum of nonnoble such as iron (III), copper (II), zinc (II), lead (II)m nickel (II), cobalt (II).
