A knitted material (3) for artificial fur tapes has a plurality of pile portions (2) extending in parallel with each other like furrows in a field. Therefore, a plurality of artificial fur tapes (T) having ear portions (6) for sew margins formed unitarily with the ground texture at both edge regions of the pile portions can be obtained at once by merely separating or cutting inter-pile portions (4) between adjacent pile portions in parallel with the pile portions, so that the productivity of the artificial fur tapes is improved.
