The present invention relates to a method for point feedingof aluminium oxide to electrolytic cells for production ofaluminium, which electrolytic cells are equipped withSoderberg anodes, and where aluminium oxide is fed to theelectrolytic bath by means of at least one point feederarranged in at least on recess on the anode casing. Thepresent invention further relates to means for feeding ofaluminium oxide to the above mentioned electrolytic cellswhere at least one point feeder is arranged in at least onerecess on the anode casing. The present invention alsorelates to an anode casing for Soderberg anodes forelectrollytic cells for production of aluminium, said anodecasing which has a substantially rectangular cross-section,is equipped with at least one recess.
