Drug for human use having a contraceptive and menstrual cycle-regulating action, a preventive and therapeutic oncostatic action in tumours of the breast and melanomas, and an antikinetose action and method of synthesis
This invention relates to a drug for human use, having a contraceptive and menstrual cycle-regulating action characterised in that it provides for the use of N-acetyl- 5-methoxytryptamine or melatonin in a daily dose of 100- 200 mg, N-acetyl-2-bromo-5-methoxytryptamine or 2- bromomelatonin in a daily dose of 25-50 mg, N-acetyl-2- iodo-5-methoxytryptamine or 2-iodomelatonin in a daily dose of 20-40 mg in association with a progestin. Administration is continued for 23 days using the association of 2-iodomelatonin and/or melatonin and/or 2- bromomelatonin and a progestin, followed by 5 days administration of the 2-iodomelatonin and/or melatonin and/or 2-bromomelatonin alone; having a preventive and therapeutic oncostatic action in tumours of the breast and melanomas, characterised by the use of 2- iodomelatonin, melatonin and 2-bromomelatonin respectively in doses of 20-40 mg, 100-200 mg, 25-50 mg per day; having an antikinetose action, characterised by the use of 2-iodomelatonin in a dose of 2.5 mg per day, melatonin in a dose of 10 mg per day and 2-bromomelatonin in a dose of 3.5 mg per day, alone and/or in association with acetyl coenzyme A-(AcCOA)- in a dose of 8-10 mg per day.
