The electrical voltage-changing drive device has a current-carrying inductive load and a push-pull output stage (1) connected to the inductive load (4). An electrical control circuit (2) is connected to the push-pull output stage. The push-pull output stage incorporates a driving transistor (T2) connected to a sinking transistor (T1). The transistors are connected between a plus and minus poles on a voltage generator (V1). The control circuit (2) is connected to a first input (5) and a second input (5) on the push-pull output stage for alternately coupling and uncoupling the transistors (T1, T2). The output voltage (OUT) on the output stage output changes between the high voltage (VCCH) on the voltage generator plus pole and the low voltage on the voltage generator minus pole.
