An aqueous nutrient gel contains the optimal amounts of water and plant nutrients held in sodium carboxy methyl cellulose, this acting as a micro-reserve for the water and mineral nutrients and held in a natural manner so as to be accessible to the plant.The gels preferably contain fertilisers for foliar feed, rich in trace elements and vitamins, such as 9 % nitrogen, 7% P2O5, 6% K2O, as well as boron, copper, manganese, zinc, cobalt, iron, molybdenum and vitamin B.
