PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of noises and vibration by penetrating a screw rod into a spike formed in a cylindrical shape, making press-fit of the spike in the ground together with the rod while revolving the screw rod. ;CONSTITUTION: A spike press-fit device 2 is equipped with a main body 8 having a mounting section 6 capable of mounting a cylindrical spike 4 in detachable manner with a connection pin 60, a screw rod 10 provided to the inside of the main body 8 in a turnable manner and passing through the spike 4, a hydraulic motor 14 revolving the rod 10 and an arm 20 capable of being fixed to a thrust cylinder 16. After that, oil pressure is supplied to the motor 14 to lower the cylinder 16 while revolving the rod 10, press-fit of the rod in the ground together with the spike is made, the spike 4 and a tubing device are connected with a specific connection member, and the motion of the tubing device is controlled. According to the constitution, the generation of noises and vibration can be prevented by making press-fit of the spike 4 while excavating the ground with the rod 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
