PURPOSE: To compact housing at the time of nonuse and to arrange a directional antenna away from the head part of a user by connecting an antenna part to a thin and long extension part through a hinge and connecting the extension part to a main housing part through the hinge. CONSTITUTION: The extension part 12 is freely turnably joined to the peak part of a housing 11 by hinge connection parts 15 and 15A and the other end part of the extension part 12 is freely turnably connected to an antenna unit 13 by the hinge connection part 16. That is, three rotary shafts are formed by the hinge connection parts 15, 15A and 16 and the antenna 13 is turned to an optimum transmission/reception direction. Then, the main housing 11 is provided with a microphone 19 on a bottom part position separated from the extension part 12. Thus, when the user sending a message brings the mouth closer to the microphone 19, the antenna 13 is held away from the head part of the user and exposure to RF power strength is reduced by selecting the length of the extension part 12.
