PURPOSE: To prevent the failure of a ceramic filter by feeding the powder of an inert material such as limestone, into a fluidized bed or waste gases and maintaining the concn. of unburned components lower than the combustion value of the unburned components when the unburned components of the dust in the waste gases from the fluidized bed boiler are expected to be increased. ;CONSTITUTION: This protective device for the ceramic filters 13 which are introduced with the waste gases from the fluidized bed boiler 1 housed in a pressure vessel 2 and constituted to burn solid fuel while fluidizing the fuel and remove the dust contained in these gases is provided with a bed thermometer 10 for measuring the bed temp. of the fluidized bed 9. Further, the device is provided with an unburned component controller 17 which recognizes the ratio of the unburned components in the dust contained in the waste gases from the measured value from this bed thermometer 10 and the boiler load and feeds the powder of the inert material such as limestone into the fluidized bed so as to maintain the concn. of the unburned components lower than the combustion value of the unburned components having a possibility of generating combustion of the unburned components. Consequently, the failure of the ceramic filters is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
