PURPOSE: To provide a cake cutter capable of cutting cake into round type, square or triangle cakes with one cutting blade without constituting chopping board as divided structures and to provide a method for cutting and dividing cake. ;CONSTITUTION: In a cutting blade 70 and a cake holding member 69, transfer in X axis direction, Y axis direction and Z axis direction and rotation movement around Z axis are each independently carried out by a moving mechanism and further, the cutting blade 70 and the cake holding member 69 are also independently driven.
