PURPOSE: To obtain the subject strain useful for bioreactor, etc., containing a localized signal sequence to an N-end microsome and a C-end maturation type mitochondrial P450, having a plasmid to manifest ferredoxin and its reduc tase. ;CONSTITUTION: A gene at mitoch andria transfer signal part of rat liver P450c25 is bonded to mitochondria transfer a gene encoding N-end 15 amino acids of bovine adrenal P45017α considered to be a signal for insertion to a microsome membrane to prepare a manifestation plasmid. The manifestation plasmid is inserted into yeast and the yeast is transformed to give the objective yeast strain simultaneously manifesting chimera P450 comprising a localized signal sequence to an N-end microsome and a C-end maturation type mitochondrial P450, ferredoxin and ferredoxin reductase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
