PURPOSE: To prevent the erosion of river sides and improve construction performance by arranging vegetation bundles comprising plant fiber cylindrically packed in a stable state on the border between band and a river or the like, and planting plants in the vegetation bundles. ;CONSTITUTION: The water 2 of a river 1 is cut off by an arbitrary way, and after grasping the flow rate, flowing direction, and erosion state of the water 2, vegetation bundles 5 comprising plant fiber 3 cylindrically packed by synthetic resin net 4 are arranged on the land 6 sharing a border with the river 1. In the next step, a plurality of piles 7 are spacedly driven in the ground contacted with the side faces of the vegetation bundles 5 on the side of the river 1, and soil dressing 9 is put in the recess 8 between the land 6, and pressure is applied to the land 6 and vegetation bundles 5 by a roller or the like to be flat so that they may be adjoined to each other. In the next step, when the vegetation bundles 5 are stabilized, aquatic plants 10 such as ditch reeds are planted in the vegetation bundles and on the soil dressing 9. This constitution prevents the erosion of river sides, and the use of the vegetation bundles 5 can improve construction performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
