Stackable storage and/or filing system - has identical files formed with V-section upper and lower faces, allowing interlocked stacking and sliding removal of individual files
The storage files are stackable in horizontal layers, each file having top (4) and bottom (3) faces defined by pairs of inclined surfaces arranged in a V-section trough. Adjacent layers of files interlock precisely in a manner allowing sliding removal of files. The bottom edges of the inclined surfaces form support feet capable of bearing the load of a lowest layer of files located on a flat supporting surface. The top surfaces of the lowest layer cooperate with the bottom surfaces of the adjacent layer to define slideways. The files may be formed by folding single sheet blanks or by injection moulding. ADVANTAGE - Compact self-supporting structure, with individual files easily removable without affecting structure.
