The tool consists of a single container body (1) with a main internal cavity (2) and at least one movable component (4) whose position may be altered to change the cross-section of the cavity. The movable components are located in peripheral channels (3) which communicate with the main cavity. The body is cylindrical about a longitudinal axis (12), and each channel is part-cylindrical about a parallel axis (13).The movable components are defined by cylinders with longitudinal cut-outs whose radii of surface curvature correspond to that of the main cavity, such that in one position the movable components complete a inner cylindrical surface of the cavity. ADVANTAGE - Same tool may be adapted for first and second workings of workpiece to different surface configurations.
