For limiting fraud of a weighing device in the free service, the closing of the bag is made by a spot welding with the aid of hot points 40 perforating the neck of the bag by causing a local fusion welding of the plastic material. A sealing strip 48 of plastic material is simultaneously welded to the neck of the bag, and this carries the label is printed by the printer 52 during the weighing. The swinging of the bag containing the merchandise is limited by stops, and the fall of the bag during its release in the end of the cycle is damped.
