Six bee baskets (8), with bee cassettes (9), execute via a drive with an electric motor (4) and plates (6) a variable relative rotary movement. An electric motor (2) rotates a guide rail (7) running on three rollers (5). Two air blowers (1) and a heating cable (17) produce hot air (48 deg.C). The hot air blowers (1) are mounted on a hot air prepn. chamber (3,12). They blow hot air into a boiler (10). The heating cable (17) and a thermo-insulation (18) are built outside the boiler. At each point of the boiler space 48 deg.C must be precisely maintained. Under the boiler is located a varroa bunker. Via a tube (15) with a valve (14) a specific amt. of smoke by means of an electro-volcano (16) is introduced into the boiler (at this moment the air blowers are switched off). USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple appliance to treat varroa infestation which affects bees.
