The loading unit (19) which can be coupled air tight to the tank opening has a filling channel (13) leading from the silo outlet. This loading unit including the filling channel is air and gas impermeable. An air discharge return pipe (39) connects with the filling channel and leads back to a rear area of the silo (5). A fan or pump (41) can be installed in the air return pipe to assist the return of the air. The connection and inlet opening of the air return pipe can be formed on a connecting housing (9) mounted level with the silo outlet and connected with its interior with the filling channel. USE/ADVANTAGE - Less pollution of the atmosphere through dust etc. when filling tanks from silos. The displaced air is returned to the silo.
