On the front panel (65) eight fields (67, etc.) are grouped in two rows and provided with individual rotary knobs (e.g. 70) each having a radial pointer (73) to a circular temp. scale (76) covering the range from 6 to 24 deg.C. Each field is assigned to a different period of e.g two to six hours of the 24-hour day. A switch (83) affords a choice between programmed and continuous operation at a preset temp. (85). Fine adjustment within 6 deg. is available (86) and a rocker switch (89) permits synchronisation to the time of day. USE/ADVANTAGE - Also in dwelling houses with multiple occupation, programming and synchronisation to time of day are extremely easy.
