Wrist-watch with alternative mechanisms of time presentation - has hollow bracelet incorporating watch movement driving internal calibrated endless band past observation window with time reference mark
The wristwatch includes a movement (1) which rotates an endless band (2) via a drive roller (4a). The band (2) is guided around an approximately oval circuit by means of the additional rollers (4). The band (2) and rollers (4, 4a) are wholly enclosed by a housing (3) which forms the wrist bracelet and which carries a fixed observation window (10) on which is inscribed a reference mark (9) for viewing against the regularly spaced hour markers (8) on the band to disclose the time. The band (2) can be calibrated for a 12 or 24 hour display and the spaces between the hour markers (8) are subdivided for more precise time definition. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simply constructed and can be economically manufactured. Practical device and lends itself to wide variety of designs.
