Mobile laboratory for measuring and evaluating test results - consists of test preparation, test execution and computer-aided evaluation areas in a mobile unit suitable for road or rail transport
A new test laboratory has the novel features that: the laboratory is part of a mobile vehicle (1); has a first area in the form of a preparation room (4) with test peparation devices (6, 8, 10); has a second area with a device (12) for computer-aided evaluation of test results; and has a third area with test cubicles (18a to 18j) and a passage (20) from which the cubicles can be individually accessed. The test cubicles are arranged in pairs in a row, each pair consisting of units whose layouts are mirror images of each other. The access passage (20) is at floor level and is fitted with shelves. Each cubicle has a door and an access hatch (46) through which test materials can be passed. The labortory may be used for sensory testing (i.e. gauging the reaction of the public to the smell, taste, etc. of a product), in which case the preparation area is provided with tables (6) and heating and cooling devices (8, 10). USE/ADVANTAGE - For measuring and annalysing test results. The laboratory can be used with a high degree of availability by a number of research organisations, and is suitable for the determining of the results of analyses by specialised research teams.
