The circuit has a first stage (10) oscillating at a constant frequency. A second stage (20) with a capacitor diode (26) follows the first stage, oscillating at a constant frequency generating output signals with an adjustable frequency value. Pref. the first oscillator stage is in the form of a Colpitts oscillator, and/or the second stage is in the form of a lambda-quarter oscillator. When used as frequency converter, it is of a double type, whose first part converts an input frequency into a higher intermediate one, while its second part converts the first intermediate frequency into a second one. USE/ADVANTAGE - For frequency converter. TV signal processing. Output signal frequency changed by DC control signal.
