Gripper for handling base slabs of street water drains - has carrier with lug on top end and foot plate on bottom end an which there is extension with radial pressure rack
There is a carrier (1) with a lug (2) on top and has at least one bearing arm (3) projecting downwards. The under side of the carrier is attached to a foot plate (6) which covers the drain base (5) in the region of a side opening (4) in the drain. A lifter (8) is attached to the underside of the foot plate whose top tilts radially outward at an angle corresponding to that of the centre axis of the side opening. In a straight line from the centre of the lifter is a plate extension (6a) which slopes downwards. A radial pressure rack (9) is arranged on the top side of the extension. USE/ADVANTAGE - For inserting kettle shaped bases into street drains. Reduces the amount of manual labour required, is simple and practical.
