The circuit design method involves specifying selected predefined components by component-identification information (bi) and are stored with respectively assigned component symbol information (bsi) is the processor data base (AS,PS). The control surface initialised component-identification is controlled and displayed on a display device. After control surface controlled selection of a component specific component identification information the information is stored in an application memory (AS). The associated component symbol information is conveyed according to a connected control-surface controlled positioning in the circuit under design on the display device. The component symbol information including position information is conveyed to application memory and stored with the associated component identification information. USE/ADVANTAGE - For processor supported design of electrical circuits. Improved in view of later realisation of developed circuit.
