Rotor for flying device - has blades with stabilisers on tips having bendable and retaining cables, bendable ones being attached to drum in centre of rotor
The rotor blades are made to rise and fall with attached tubular stabilisers (6). The blades are made out of thin strips of metal foil which have one end held in the centre of the rotor and the other end is bendably attached to the corresponding stabiliser. The stabilisers have bendable cables attached to them and the other end is attached to a winding drum (4) in the centre of the rotor. A retaining cable (2) is located near the winding drum and is led through guide rollers (3) on each stabiliser. The cross section of the stabilisers tubular wall forms a flat support surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - For light flying devices. Requires less surface area to create movement.
