Arrow target block - has an outer harder and self-supporting foam layer with following softer and elastic foam layers to hold arrow at the point of impact without shifting the line of arrival
The target assembly, for arrows, is composed of successive foam layers. The outer layer (2), initially struck by the arrow, is of a harder and self-supporting foam. Each softer and more elastic layer (3) of foam is held mechanically by a harder self-supporting layer (2) of foam. The harder layer (2) is a polyethylene foam, and the softer more elastic layers (3) are of PVC foam. The layers are held together by an adhesive or by welding. USE/ADVANTAGE - The target is for arrows, and the like, where the arrow is held at the point of impact and on the line of arrival to show trajectory errors. The target block allows the arrow to strike and enter without shifting its line of arrival, and hold it at the impact position.
