a method of measurement by interferometry using light as a compressed pulse input is divided into two consecutive input pulses (15a, 15b) separated by a time interval which is less than the inverse of the spectral width of the scattered and acoustic wave "tour.the two pulses are then fractionu00e9es (16), a first pair (20a, 20b), and a second pair (22a, 22b) pulse is spread in opposite directions by a loop of fiber optic interferometer (18) for them at the end of the fall (16).we put in a pulse phase modulator combined ip module (38), one of the two pulses. the output is then fed into a balanced detector (50) where it determines the average of the two signals so that the noise in brillouin guided wave dispersion acousitique is eliminated.
