An engine originally designed to operate with petrol injection is converted into an engine that can run with either petrol or methane injection by means of an adaptor part 6, 11 fitted either with a seat 9 for a petrol injector 10, or a seat 13 for a methane injector 14. The adaptor part has an internal cavity 7 communicating with the said seats and discharging into an outlet hole 8 that is obtained from a portion 5 of the adaptor part 6, 11. The abovementioned portion 5 is inserted into a seat 4 of the engine originally provided to accept the petrol injector device. (Figure 4) IMAGE
