PURPOSE: To execute photographing at a viewing angle wider in a panoramic photographing mode than in a standard photographing mode, with simple structure. ;CONSTITUTION: When a mode is switched to a panoramic photographing mode by operating a mode switching knob 9, a pulse motor 23 is driven by an MPU 21 and a mask plate 20 is inserted in an aperture 18. Simultaneously, a panorama control signal is transmitted to a zoom range control part 25. When a variable power signal is transmitted to the control part 25 from a zoom knob 11 through the MPU 21, a zoom ring 17 is moved in a zoom area between a panoramic wide end and a telephoto end by the control part 25 through a pulse motor 27. Besides, the plate 20 is retreated from the aperture 18 and a standard control signal is transmitted to the control part 25 from the MPU 21 in a standard photographing mode. Thereafter, when the knob 11 is operated, the ring 17 is moved in a zoom area between a standard wide end and the telephoto end.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
