PURPOSE: To block a neighboring fracture and to make it possible to nearly and surely control overflow within a short period of time at a low cost by scattering and throwing shape memory alloyed materials storing a net-like shape in an underground excavated hole. ;CONSTITUTION: Shape memory alloyed materials 4 storing a net-like shape and the like are provided. In the case overflow occurs during the excavation work, the shape memory alloyed materials 4 are scattered and thrown in an underground excavated hole and are entered in an overflow-causing fracture 3. After that, when sediment in the fracture 3 receives heat from a high temperature layer to raise temperature, the shape memory alloyed materials 4 are returned to the original net-like shape and the like, and an opening linked to the excavated hole of the fracture 3 is blocked. In addition, when temperature rising of the sediment in the fracture 3 can not be expected, hot water having a required temperature can be supplied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
