PURPOSE: To hold the hue of a transfer film layer even when both of reflected light and transmitted light are visually confirmed at the time of the transfer to a partner member and to complete the transfer to the partner member at once. ;CONSTITUTION: In a transfer film for thermal transfer printing, a plurality of stripe-like transfer film layers 13 each consisting of, at least, one reflecting film layer 13A and one transmitting film layer 13B mutually laminated on one surface of a base material film 11 through a release layer 12 as one set and extended along the extension direction of the base material film 11 and an adhesive layers 14 for bonding the transfer film layers 13 to a partner member are formed on the transfer film layers 13. A thermal transfer printing method uses this transfer film for thermal transfer printing. By this constitution, the hue of the transfer film layer can be held even when both of reflected light and transmitted light are visually confirmed at the time of the transfer to the partner member and the transfer to the partner member can be completed at once.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
