PURPOSE: To provide excellent room heating capacity and to eliminate supply of water by adding an auxiliary heat source having a heat storage unit which has an adsorbed heat type heat storage material as a main subject in addition to an electric warm air heater as a main heat source. ;CONSTITUTION: The room air heater comprises an electric warm air heater. In this case, an auxiliary heat source 17 is added in addition to the electric heater as a main heat source. A main part of the heat source 17 has a heat storage unit 19 having an adsorbed heat type heat storage material 18, an air supply unit 20 for supplying the air containing moisture to the unit 19, and a heat radiator 21 for radiating heat generated when moisture is adsorbed to the material 18. Thus, warm air having high heat is obtained together with the heat by the unit 17 and the heat by the electric heater, and hence room heating effect is improved based on limited electric power.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
