PURPOSE:To carry out antioxidant treatment of a parched small sardine product and produce a low-calorie parched small sardine product with green tea good in keeping quality by utilizing the antioxidant action of green tea catechin contained in green tea of middle grade. CONSTITUTION:Vitamin A or E, chlorophyll and dietary fiber are ingested by eating green tea (green tea of middle grade) and calcium, vitamin E, DHA, EPA, etc., are contained in a Japanese anchovy. These two substances are bound with a thick reducing maltase syrup. This method for producing a parched small sardine product with the green tea is to bind and coat the whole surface of the Japanese anchovy strictly sorted from foreign materials with catechin contained in the green tea of middle grade using the thick reducing maltose syrup. Furthermore, the parched small sardine product with the green tea is prepared.
