PURPOSE: To provide a warp tension controlling method intended to prevent warp streak development at the joint end of a twin beam. ;CONSTITUTION: The warp tension detectors 4, 5 are set up at the joint end of the respective routes for warps T1, T2 delivered, respectively, from warp beams 1, 2. Signals from these detectors are transmitted to a control computer C where the rotary driving of delivery motors M1, M2 is controlled via respective driving circuits 6, 7, based on the information from the detectors 4, 5. Also, the motors M1, M2 are subjected to feedback control by the control computer C based on the revolving speed information from rotary encoders m1, m2 respectively incorporated in said motors M1, M2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
