PURPOSE: To change a plurality of lanes of vessel flow into a single lane of it by a single step under no pressure, by providing an intermediate conveyor comprising many transportation conveyors driven at a stepwise speed. ;CONSTITUTION: An intermediate conveyor 3 comprising many carry-out conveyors 4 driven at a stepwise speed is provided between a carry-in conveyor for a plurality of lanes of vessel flow and a carry-out conveyor 4 for a single lane of vessel flow. The intermediate conveyor 3 comprises a conical path, connecting to the carry-out conveyor 4 of a width corresponding to a single lane in an outlet range. The intermediate conveyor 3 comprises many carry-out belts 7 which are driven endlessly in circulation and two guided rails 8 on the side, and in each of transportation sections F1-F6, the transportation belt 7 connected to the transportation belt 7 in a transportation direction A is faster in transportation than the transportation belt 7 before the transportation direction A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
