PURPOSE: To safely and brightly color the alkaline hot spring by heating and condensing the alkaline hot spring at a high temp. and forming the condensed hot spring water having specific pH and strong alkalinity, then casting plants contg. pigment having alkaline color developability thereby perfecting the colored hot spring water. ;CONSTITUTION: The alkaline hot spring is first heated and condensed at the high temp. to form the condensed hot spring water having ≥9 pH and the strong alkalinity in order to color the alkaline hot spring. The plants contg. the pigment having the alkaline color developability are cast into the high-temp. condensed hot spring water to perfect the colored condensed hot spring water. Plants, such as persimmon leaves and safflowers, which do not render side effects to the human body, or vegetables, such as red and purple skins of onions and cabbage leaves, are selected as the plants contg. the pigment. On the other hand, the pH of the colored hot spring water may be set at 5.8 to 8.6 by adding neutral well water thereto.
