PURPOSE:To obtain a sensation of large thickness without increasing the number of parts and to maintain the strength of a lid body by adhering a specific transparent plate to a one-terminal open recessed part provided to the top side of the lid body. CONSTITUTION:The lid body 11 consists of the one-terminal open recessed part 12 provided on the surface, reception parts 19 and 19' provided at the reverse side near the one-terminal open part, a through hole 14 formed near the center of the recessed part 12, and the transparent plate 13 stuck on the recessed part 12. The transparent plate 13 consists of an external edge part 17 nearly as thick as the cassette lid body 11, a thin internal end part 18, ribs 16 and 16' which abut on the reception parts 19 and 19', and a printed part 15 which is decorated by printing to shield the through hole 14. Consequently, a sensation of thickness is given the lid body and its strength is maintained.
