PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of the vacuum degree in a mold cavity and to smoothly pour a molten metal to all the corners of the mold cavity by preventing the intrusion of gas on the outside of a casting chamber into the mold cavity next to a sprue from melting port by the molten metal which instantaneously closes the sprue. CONSTITUTION:A collar 50 is integrally projected to a casting material 35 and the melting port 12 is provided to a partition wall 11 so as to face the sprue 22 of a casting mold 14. The collar 50 is hermetically grasped and fixed between a peripheral thickness wall 51 of the sprue 22 and a bottom surface 52 of the peripheral thickness wall of the melting port 12 while the material 35 is made to face the melting port 12 and the sprue 22. The material 35 is successively melted from above by a melting device 36 from this state, then the molten metal melted down to the lower part closes the sprue 22 instantaneously to prevent the pressurized gas of the melting chamber 1 from intruding into the mold cavity 23 next to the sprue 22. While the decrease of the vacuum degree in the mold cavity 23 is prevented, the molten metal flows smoothly to all the corners of the mold cavity 23 from the sprue 22 without receiving the fluid resistance by a large back pressure.
