PURPOSE:To provide a hybridoma clone capable of producing an antianti- thrombin III-thrombin complex monoclonal antibody nonreactive to free antithrombin III and free thrombin and specifically reactive exclusively with antithrombin III-thrombin complex. CONSTITUTION:A cell (preferably mouse spleen cell) immunized with an antithrombin III-thrombin complex is fused with another cell (preferably mouse myeloma cell) by cell-fusion technique to obtain a hybridoma clone capable of producing antithrombin III-thrombin complex monoclonal antibody.
