PURPOSE:To control water content in soil and to obtain high quality agricultural products by covering the surface of soil in which agricultural products are planted with a finely porous film for culturing agricultural products having 0.01-60mum average pore diameter, excellent water vapor transmission, waterproofness and windproofness. CONSTITUTION:The surface of soil in which agricultural products are planted is covered with a finely porous film which is made of thermoplastic film having 0.01-60mum average pore diameter, has 1,000g/m2.24hrs water vapor transmission and preferably reinforced with an aerially transmissible reinforcing base at one side or both sides.
