PURPOSE: To make easier to handle goods and reduce fatigue and accidental injury of an operator by providing a shopping counter system with a function to apply various heights, hands and work positions of respective operator. CONSTITUTION: A shopping counter system 10 has a thin and long housing 12 generally equipped with an upper stream part 20 to receive goods to be counted, a down stream part 21 to bag the goods and a middle part 22 where a register operator comes in and off. A floor section 27 has a means to raise it up and down vertically in order to place the operator at appropriate height from the ground. The shopping counter system 10 is further equipped with a stall 40 situated in a middle opening 24 of the housing on the movable floor section 27. The stall 40 can be moved around a shaft device 42 enabling sitting operator turn around as he/she likes. The stall 40 can be completely tucked up in a cutout 46 of the housing 12 when the operator leaves.
