During assembly the cover hood (60) encloses the section (21) of the metal insert located in the end of the pipe. The edge (61) surrounding the hood opening engages over the circumferential area of the pipe and is welded onto to same. The edge zone (61) of the hood pref. has an electrical heat conductor for providing the welded connection. The metal insert can be divided into two differently shaped and differently acting axial sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pipe clip for plastics supply pipe has long service life and is easy to fit.
