Tractor with sloping front engine cover for improved visibility - has shaped attachments to cover removed space for other uses without hindering normal driving visibility
The front engine cover slopes downwards to the front of the vehicle (2) to enable the driver to operate the front hoist etc. When fitting other attachments such as seed drills, spraying tanks, these are shaped to take up the space vacated by the cut-down shape. This leaves the effective front cover horizontal and does not impede the visibility of the driver. The sloping shape enables a simple hopper tank shape to be used, for seed drills, manure spreading etc. The shaped attachments are fitted over the front cover and extends over its sides. They are supported on the fittings (12) for the front hoist. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved visibility for front attachments on tractor, stable fitting.
