The data are acquired over a sufficiently wide band using wideband antennas. Digital data are derived and used to determine special weather prognoses for a defined region and/or localisation of the weather processes and/or bio-meteorological information which are related to the biological effects of the electromagnetic radiation. Pref. coils are used to receive the magnetic components, having a short circuit current or integrated open circuit voltage gives a frequency-dependent measure of the magnetic field over the entire bandwidth. ADVANTAGE - For use up to few thousands of km in frequency range 1 kHz to 100 kHz, e.g. for investigation of climatically influenced illnesses, such as epilepsy and heart infarcts. Information losses of conventional narrow-band analogue systems are reduced.
