Signal detection of high frequency electromagnetic fields, esp. radio and TV signals passed via satellite - using planar radiators consisting of coupled system of planar waveguide resonators based on thin film microstrip or microslot technique
The planar groups of equiphase resonators are quasicontinuously and hierarchically phase evaluated via magnetostatic surface wave coupling. Radiators forming subgroups are connected electrically or by surface waves. The planar radiators are coupled via yttrium-iron granule linear or circular partial fields which are evaluated separately and coupled out after superimposition. Control vectors are determined. Phase and polarisation control are performed in time sequence and cyclically. USE/ADVANTAGE - For selective, phase-controlled and polarisation adaptive signal reception of radio or television signals passed via satellite with optimal phase and polarisation characteristics and spectral sensitivity.
