Suspension clamp for fixing catenary suspension on two support ropes for overhead lines - has U=shaped suspension bracket for fixing catenary suspension and U=shaped clamping brackets for fixing at ropes secured by threaded bolt and nut
Two clamping brackets (5,6) and a suspension bracket ( 16) are arranged close to each other on the bolt (2). A distance spacer (10) is provided, which ensures that the prescribed clearance distance between the side limbs of the clamping brackets is maintained. The distance spacer is U-shaped and has two slots in each side limb, so that a side limb of a clamping bracket and a suspension bracket engage.The slot widths are defined as the combined thickness of a clamping bracket side limb and the suspension bracket side limb. ADVANTAGE - Compact construction saves material, good electrical and mechanical characteristics.
