Cyclic transmission of coded, alphanumeric data in TV lines - transmitting special data block(s) between last text page line and not-repeated next page head line
The transmitted data are collected on the playback side and displayed as a TV image page by page. The useful data representing a teletext page are combined into a block, preceded by a head line, identifying the page member, in a length of a TV line. Between the last useful data line of a teletext page and a non-repeated head line of the cyclically following teletex page are transmitted up to several special data blocks, partly or completely filling one or several following blanking out regions of the TV image. The special data block(s) is associated with a part of a special teletext page, or parts of page sequence, identifiably a special head line transmitted before the respective data block. USE/ADVANTAGE - For teletext transmission, with facility for supplementary pages transmission without stressing entire cycle.
