The invention relates to a horse's head number, having a plate-shaped support which exhibits at least one changeable figure or number on the front side. The invention is characterised in that the at least one figure is a multi-segment figure with a plurality of display segments, each of which is formed by a window provided on the front side of the support and a display element arranged in the region of this window, which display element is mounted to be rotatable about an axis on the support and possesses at least two surface regions of different coloration and/or brightness, each of which can optionally be viewed in the region of the window with appropriate rotation of the display element.
