The central system, operated by an instructor, includes a system definition unit, an exercise preparation unit and a training control unit. Connected to the system a number of training simulators is for the use of the students. Data concerning the actions of the students on the simulators are stored at the central sytem and compared with optimum data to analyse and detect errors in the students' performances. The system definition unit is equipped with memories to store a simulator definition matrix for each training simulator.
